The Crystals

Aquamarine — The heart of this piece. Softly translucent rather than glassy, these beads shift between pale ice-blue and a deeper cornflower tone as your wrist turns, like light moving through shallow water. Named for the sea, aquamarine is traditionally associated with calm, honest speech and steady nerves, and has long been carried in crystal lore as a stone of safe passage — something to hold when the water ahead looks uncertain.

Kyanite — Two or three deep royal-blue beads punctuate the palette, each marked by fine fibrous banding that catches the light in a silky, directional shimmer no photograph quite captures. Kyanite is believed by many to be a stone of alignment and clear communication — of saying the true thing simply. It is the darkest note in the bracelet, the one that gives all that pale blue its structure.

Clear Quartz — Transparent beads veined with delicate internal frost, plus the faceted double-terminated hexagonal prism that anchors the design.
